Caning Women???

Caning women, Muslims or otherwise, is simply discrimination against women.
It is contrary to federal laws enacted by the Parliament of Malaysia and Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) adopted in 1979 by the UN General Assembly. Under Section 289 of the Criminal Procedure Code, corporal punishment is forbidden for women. Also, Malaysia is one of the signatory nations in CEDAW.
